These grow kits include a layer of perlite (to keep water in), colonized rye cake, and vermiculite (as a casing layer). When the kits come at your door, they are ready to grow—all the mushrooms require is a little patience and a light spritz of water every day.
Although yields may be modest in the early flushes, the tradeoff is a huge collection of PES Amazonian that appears to be reaching for the stars. After numerous flushes and a few weeks, you should have 400-600 grams of fresh, fast-fruiting mushrooms.
